If you want the definition of commitment, it’s David Thomson. Wearing many hats in the real estate world and in life, David is a Licensed Agent and Auctioneer with an Associate Diploma in Valuations (RMIT) and Certificate in Real Estate (RMIT). What more could you ask for in an agent?
In David’s formative years, he worked for a year at Timbertop’s Geelong Grammar School as an assistant teacher, this time gave him understanding of the importance of building strong relationships and a sense of community.
David’s colleagues agree he’s friendly, a good listener and always looking for positive outcomes for buyers and sellers. He’s also known to think outside the box creating a win for the seller and success for the buyer.
“In my opinion, experience and knowledge are critical in this ever-changing market, and for 40 years my skillset has allowed me to see things from every angle therefore making considered recommendations. Meeting people and genuinely helping them with decisions that are life changing creates immense pleasure and I love auctioneering and what the process of an auction campaign can create for a vendor.”
Married with two daughters, David’s sporty family has always lived near the beach. “I walk most mornings to start the day, and I play tennis and golf to keep fit. I am a confessed St Kilda supporter and Manchester United fan, but it is my love of 70’s and 80’s music that resonates outside of work - I’ve been playing in bands for the past 35 years around town to let my hair down.
